Walford Anglican School Multi-Purpose Hall
Background
Founded over 120 years ago, Walford Anglican School For Girls needed its first purpose-built gymnasium. We built a multi-purpose hall to serve as a gym and function space for the school and its community.
Challenges
- Facilities needed to be flexible for a range of recreational activities, plus functions and meetings
Outcomes
- We constructed a two-storey complex to cater to the school and community’s varying needs
- We built two full-size, timber-floored sports courts and two large upstairs areas for exercise and dance/movement
- Our build included change rooms, toilets, staff accommodation, storage and a viewing gallery
- The flexible design and lift to the first floor allows for a range of recreational activities, functions and meeting spaces for the school and wider community
