The redevelopment of the Hyde Park Showrooms was the second part of the upgrade to facilities for this client by Kennett Pty Ltd.

The structure is predominately glass and steel, and the extensive use of transparent and high gloss finishes required finite detail in construction to achieve the faultless appearance car Showrooms require, whilst still blending seamlessly with the existing Service and Spare Parts Area.

At all times the dealership was to remain fully functional, including the Service Department.

Nissan and Renault design restrictions subdued any architectural intent, thus the ‘wow factor’ had to be portrayed in build quality.

With our advanced involvement and ability to provide flexible client solutions, we achieved a square metre build cost well under the published rates of many Estimating publications.
